Braided Graphite Tape is manufactured by knitting innovative expanded pure graphite yarns into a dense yet flexible tape structure. This construction delivers a combination of high mechanical strength and excellent conformability, allowing the tape to adapt well to sealing surfaces. Owing to the inherent thermal stability and chemical resistance of expanded graphite, the tape performs reliably in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

For applications requiring additional strength and durability, metallic wire–reinforced braided graphite tape is available, making it suitable for demanding sealing and packing duties.
